World Hindi day 2019

World Hindi Day is celebrated on January 10 every year, marking the anniversary of first World Hindi Conference which was held in 1975. The first World Hindi Conference was inaugurated by the then prime minister Indira Gandhi.
Since 1975, the World Hindi Conference has been organised in different countries like India, Mauritius, United Kingdom, Trinidad and Tobago, United States. Embassy Of India in Hungary celebrated it on March 28th, and dedicated the day to all the Hindi Lovers of the Country, and also felicitated the hindi students of the ELTE University as well as the course of Hindi at the Embassy in Budapest. Several activities were done to involve the Hindi Speaking Hungarians like Poetry recitation, Essay and Calligraphy Comnpetition, Talk Show and also a film on development of Hindi was made.
