MUGEN AI Patch Release: MvCX Hayato Kanzaki by Vyn

Hey everyone! Back with another AI Patch! This time I decided to try patching one of the older mvc2 conversions to which I went for Vyn's Hayato. Now despite this Hayato definitely not being on par with Vyn's newer works, I decided to why not patch him and see what I could do with him. To my surprise despite being and MVC character, he has a few key combo restrictions I had to go through with such as not being able to chain into crouching medium punch and his grounded medium kicks and not being able to special cancel into his combo special. He also has a few more notable flaws like his lack of defense and a very poor meterless damage output. I decided to aim for a faster paced style with his AI compared to the more patient spacing gameplan I did with Felicity's Hayato. The AI uses his fast movement to his advantage and will perform quick combos while also not hesitating to pull off a punish when the time comes. For me that style just felt right for this Hayato due to all of his movement options and how his combos go very fast. A pretty fun one to work on since I've never patched an MVC2 styled character before.

AI Configuration Settings:
- Auto AI
- AI Level
- Rate of Crouching Light Kick to Special Combo
- Rate of Shinryuuken Combo Setups
- Rate of Combos into Thunder Storm

Pros:
- Fast speed all around. Fast movement, fast combos and fast attacks. Speed is one of Hayato's best aspects which allows him to apply constant pressure. He also has some neat stuff like being able to use his air dash quickly for quick overheads and being able to crouch cancel his forward dash.
- Shockingly good defensive options. All of his supers are good reversals and he has quite a few basic but effective defensive options like Advanced Guards, Zero Counters, and ACTUAL counter and even a dash back that you can't hit him out of.
- Speaking of which, all of Hayato's supers are great! As stated all of them are good reversals, but besides his level 3 they're all important combo tools for Hayato. While Thunder Storm and Shinryuuken need some more setup and/or spacing. Hiting them both give off equal if not even more reward than his super combo. And it's worth mentioning his unique level 2 called "Plasma Blast" that not many other Hayato's have. Instead of being an install that only works if it connects, it's a rather quick Fullscreen attack that is invincible on startup. It doesn't do too much more damage compared to his level 1s and probably not as good as the usual install most Hayato's have, but a quick full screen reversal that can even be used in the air is still an AMAZING tool to have.
Cons:
- Meterless damage is very VERY low. not much else to say other than the fact that his damage without supers is just very poor.
- Below average defense at 90.
- His specific combo limitations can sometimes be a problem, though I have found solutions like using his special combo after landing a crouching light kick. Other combo issues can show up however like not being able to complete a combo after landing standing medium punch without meter.
- Has some very unsafe grounded moves, notably some of his longer range normals like medium punches and all of his heavy normals. However, this can be used to bait into a reversal sometimes.
