Another track for the new project that is now officially "The People of Caleija". I made the desision not to create super specific backgrounds for video as my skills and drawing imagination is just so limited that this is basically the new cover screen plus a character sprite. These will be the default for all upcoming, likely with the sprites changing or adding.
Anyone who watches Star Trek for a living should immediately identify the quote after which this track is named after. It is from the overall memorable episode "Dharmok" where the crew encounters a race that comminucates in metaphors and memories of fables and legends. One being the "Shaka, When the Walls Fell", a synonym for failure. What exactly happened is never explained, however may be referring to the fall of a greater empire in a battle against a rising force. For the story of Caleija this is pretty much what happened when the walls of a giant and flourishing city fell.
Musically there are a few rhythm changes from fast to slow and fast again like the on-going advances for storming a castle, certainly one of my faster songs but I really like it and I hope it creates an interesting atmosphere worthy of the TNG episode.
The character sprite in the video is Arian, who was present during that one night in which the walls fell. As he one of the armed forces? And if so to protect or to attack?
