I probably would have ignored this one if it wasn't for the viewer Kayy mentioning it a comment one day. Thanks Kayy.

As exemplified by films such as the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat movies, video games have always encouraged expansive and flexible positions on taste and standards in film. But damn if they don't make you smile.

There is a large section of the film that essentially has no dialog and yet it conveys the most emotion. Silent film is largely a lost art and I was really impressed by its execution here. It was unfortunate they broke that silence.

Prior to watching in 3D there was a ten minute clip on YouTube that I watched flat around the time it was released. Although it was fun watching the battle with the monster in the sand - the whole thing just screamed at me "I belong in 3D". So I'm happy this exists; it is exactly the kind of roller coaster ride you get a 3D system to watch.

I noticed it is advertised in places as being region B. Mine had no region coding.
