$244 million for bigger pants? Centenary Bridge Upgrade Project

The Queensland Government has begun consultation on its $244 million project to duplicate the Centenary Bridge at Jindalee. They forecast an increase of car traffic from 85,000 vehicles a day now to 152,000 per day by 2036. But is this project just buying bigger pants to treat our bad diet? It's not that simple.
