Earlier this legacy has been sung by many legendary artists like the respected Girija Devi ji, Pandit Chhannu laal Mishr ji and many more.

This song is sung specially in the season of spring before summer, when the cuckoo bird chirps the Koo koo ...and a wife who remembers and misses her husband who's left far away for work. The song takes u to the very fragrance of the soil of the homeland and the emotions connected to it.
