I wanted to make a low fidelity, dreamy, cutesy, bubblegum, 1960s song with a young female vocalist, and the idea was that I wanted this girl to be a resident at a mental facility, and as such, she was getting the privilege to use the recording equipment belonging to the hospital in order to record this track. "Crashy" is just about the cutest nickname ever, and I hope that the irl Crashy likes this if she ever hears it.
