The item Automation System offers a wide portfolio of Linear Units for a broad range of applications. At the heart of the linear technology from item are Linear Units, which comprise linear guides and carriages that travel along these guides. Tools, robots or workpieces can be mounted on these carriages to be transported along the Linear Unit to where they need to be or positioned for a machining application.
