I figured it was about time I made a more up-to-date video on my signature technique- the wrapped square knot! (also known as the alternating square knot technique or color blocking square knot method). I developed this method at the end of 2019 when I was looking for a way to create macramé landscapes without the tediousness of the vertical clove hitch knot. After some failed experiments, I created this method of alternating colors of square knots in order to depict images on tapestries!

All of the materials I used for this tutorial are available in my fiber supply shop (use YOUTUBE10 at checkout for 10% off). The cord is 5mm single twist string in natural, teal, and copper.
