Syria, Libya and the Palestinian peace process are expected to top the agenda at today's meeting between Arab and European foreign ministers in Athens.
STORYLINE:
Foreign Ministers from the Arab League states arrive in Greece for a one day meeting with their European counterparts.
Key issues in the region will be debated including the situation in Syria and Libya as well as the status of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
This time cross-border issues will also be on the table.
This includes what to do with foreign fighters radicalised in conflicts in the Middle East returning home to European countries with the aim of carrying out attacks.
Before the meeting, Belgium called on more information-sharing among Arab and EU states on returning fighters.
It's the second European Union-League of Arab States Foreign Affairs Ministerial Meeting. This year's is hosted by Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Evangelos Venizelos.
EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and Secretary General of the League of Arab States Nabil Elaraby are among those attending.
