God made a covenant with Abram, “Look up at the sky. Count the stars. That’s how many children will be born into your family.” Sarah became pregnant and the child, Isaac was born at the exact time God had promised. God tested Abraham and said “Take your only son and go to mount Moria. Give your son to me as a burnt offering”. Abraham obeyed God and it pleased God. God blessed Abraham because what he has done and became the father of faith.
