Behringer Ultravoice XM8500 Mic Demo - A good vocal mic for under $25.00!

The Behringer Ultravoice XM8500 is a very inexpensive dynamic vocal microphone that can be found for under twenty dollars. I'm running the XM8500 into a Focusrite Scarlett and using a DOD R-825 Compressor as an insert. I'm also using a noise gate plugin (bundled with Reaper) to reduce some background noise.

NOTE: I also used a little bit of EQ to remove some of the boomy bass frequencies (I failed to mention this in the audio recording).
