In this video Andrea shows us how to tune a violin using the fine tuners and the pegs with the aid of a digital tuner. The same method of tuning applies to tuning a viola or cello except the tuning for the strings on violas & cellos are A, D, G, C (ascending).

There are many different ways to tune your violin, viola, cello or bass, however, for beginners we recommend using an electric tuner. Many tuners and metronomes can be found on our website here:
