On 18th May 2022, the IRC hosted a virtual event to mark the UK Aid Match appeal launch, which will fund a new malnutrition programme in Nigeria.

Hosted by IRC’s Communications Director Peggy Walters, the virtual event held engaging conversations from IRC leaders and experts; President and CEO David Miliband introduced the Protecting Milestones Appeal, Nutrition Research and Innovation Lead Jeanette Bailey explained the innovative ways IRC is treating malnourished children and the Deputy Director of Programmes in Nigeria Mercy Alidri gave her first-hand account of the impact of donations in her country.
