Off grid is a popular term these days. What does it really mean? For us, it means finding and cultivating deeper relationships with our environment. As Black homesteaders, we want to inspire others by showing you our adventures, mishaps, and successes since leaving the 9 to 5 life behind in DC.

We’re living off grid (ish) with our van and our tiny home log cabin on our solar and rain powered homestead in progress. We are a family of artists and herbalists learning as we go.
