International Leach Sanicruiser Garbage Truck

Up in the small town of Cheyenne Wells Colorado C&L Sanitation still collects all of the residential garbage in the town with this classic truck. According to the driver this truck is about a 1980 which sounds about right. We came up here on Memorial day so we weren't even expecting them to be running so when all of the trucks were just parked in the yard it wasn't to surprising. We got there around 10:30 and just as we were about to leave town we saw the Sanicruiser leave the yard and start picking up cans right by the yard. This driver runs there Loadmaster rear loader on dumpsters in the morning and then gets in the Sanicruiser to do about 50 carts and then that's his whole day. The Sanicruiser packer is one of my all time favorite packers to watch with how unique it's design is and couldn't have been more excited to get to see one still being used in person!
