Monsoon is on. There are lot of chances of getting cough and cold. Then for the relief from it we will be making honey ginger lemon candy. This is a real quick and easy recipe. The ingredients required are easily available in your pantry. You will be getting tips and tricks to make the perfect candy. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 1 cup Sugar
• 1/4 cup Water
• 3~4 Cloves
• Cinnamon
• Ginger powder
• 2 tsp Honey
• Lemon juice

Method:
• Heat up a sauce pan on medium heat and add sugar, water.
• Until sugar melts take cloves, cinnamon in a mortar and pound it into powder.
• You can roast the spices a little if you want.
• When sugar melts add the spices powder into the mixture, ginger powder, honey and mix
well.
• You can pound dry ginger and use that powder or add ginger juice in place of ginger powder.
• Cook everything well together until thick syrup.
• Turn the gas to low heat after about 10 minutes.
• Take a small amount of mixture into a bowl and let it cool down a little.
• Check the consistency by taking the syrup between 2 fingers. It should be thick.
• Spread a butter paper and make small droplets like candies of the mixture on it.
• The mixture should be hot.
• When it is dry take them off the paper.
• Honey lemon candies are all ready.
• You can store the candies in a broad airtight container.
• Place a paper at the base of the container.
• Do not stack the candies while storing in container.
