I started on a new piece of work this week, but wanted to catch you up first on how I've been preparing for the year as a whole. It's easy to worry that you need to start consistent habits as soon as January hits. I felt that too during my five weeks without painting. But I wasn't ready and needed to wrap up loose ends in life, and explore what I want out of this year. This video documents that journey and the process of my studio makeover along with my thoughts on what's important in creating a fresh start as a creative.
