Dosti Roti || 2-in-1 Roti || To eat with Halwa- Episode 30

Dosti roti, or 2-in-one roti gets its name from the fact that in Hindi Dosti means friendship. The two pieces of dough that make up each roti are like two friends that come together. This type of roti is usually made to eat with Halwa on the 9th day after a baby is born. You can also eat this roti with any Guyanese vegetable or meat dish.

Ingredients and Measurements:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. oil
enough water to knead the dough

extra oil and flour for rolling and cooking
