Highlights of Speech
Kanchi is a city of temples. Kumbhabhshekam is meant for Kshemam of everyone including animals living in that region. 'Dharma should continue & further expand' is the daily prayer in temples. This prayer if for world to be peaceful & prosperous. Temples have been built for our well being.

Shadaranya Kshetram - Arcot is where 6 Rishis performed penance and Shiva Puja. Kanchi Kamakshi is the central gem of this area.
Sara Vinayaka on the Ekamranathar Temple Sannadhi street-end is from where the tall & majestic Gopuram of Ekamranatha Temple was constructed.
(Mention is made about different temples, gopurams, mandapams & unique sculptures of temples in Kanchi and also of Adi Sankaras' Shilpams in different temples of Kanchi.)

The smaller temples in Kanchi were patronised by Kanchi Paramacharya even in his advanced age. The Acharya who has blessed Kumbhabhishekams of several big temples, in that advanced age visited the Shivalingams which got some shelter due to his efforts. His Holiness also blessed for their Kumbhabhishekam in person

In late 80’s HH Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal bought the place around this Shivalingam as wished by Kanchi Paramacharya and thus the Ananthapadmanabhaswamy temple was reconstructed. Now new Mandapam & Vimanam has also been constructed. The darshan of Trimurthis can be had in this ancient temple. The murthy of Dattatreya Maharishi who is an Avatara of Trimurtis is specially found here.
People living here should worship & take interest in daily upkeep of temples and be recipients of blessings of Parameswara.
