Their courageous efforts led to Shri Badat’s defeat, which is still remembered and celebrated today.

The legacy of Shri Badat’s downfall lives on through the Taleno festival, a vibrant event celebrated every year in many parts of Gilgit-Baltistan on December 21, where people gather to commemorate his end and celebrate their freedom.
