Eileen Gu(谷愛凌) is an American-born Chinese freestyle skier.She was born in 2003, and she has a Chinese mother, Yan Gu (谷燕) and an American father. Eileen is 175cm (5'9 in), 65kg (143 pounds). Eileen is also a fashion model and received an admission notice from Stanford University, also has been sponsored by more than 20 brands, including the Louis Vuitton, Victoria's Secret and Tiffany. Eileen Gu's school age and childhood was in San Francisco, USA, but every year she also came back to Beijing, China. She got hurt, like fracture, concussion, and short-term memory loss during her training time, and she even wanted to give up, but finally she overcame and persisted. In 2019, Eileen decided to represent China for skiing competitions in the future. So far she has got many medals from Slopestyle, Halfpip, and Big Air. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Eileen became the youngest Olympic champion in freestyle skiing after winning gold medals in Big air and Halfpipe, and a silver medal in Slopestyle at age 18.
