This recording is from our Spring Concert Series that took place at the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center on April 13, 2024, featuring Jarrett Wildcatt.

Jarrett works as a cultural specialist at the Museum of the Cherokee Indian in Cherokee, NC. He is a multi-instrumentalist, performing with traditional Cherokee instruments and several guitar styles. Jarrett carries on traditions learned from his family and community, and he is also a craft artist working in multiple traditional Cherokee craft forms. He was also a featured artist on our Fine Tuned project.

The Blue Ridge Music Trails are nestled within the North Carolina mountains and foothills, a region known for its spectacular beauty, moderate climate, Cherokee heritage, handmade crafts, small family farms, and, of course, its rich musical traditions. The geographic footprint of the Blue Ridge Music Trails consists of twenty-nine counties in the western third of the state.
