In this video, i'm staying at the NEW 5***** Voulez-Vous Hotel in Tignes Le Lac, one of 5 villages that make up Tignes Ski Resort. Tignes Le Lac is the main resort on the banks of a large lake, at an altitude of 2100m.

One of the main advantages of staying at Le Lac is easy access to the slopes. There is also a wide range of bars and restaurants to enjoy for après and in the evenings.

Voulez-Vous Hotel is a nice five-star hotel located just steps away from the slopes which leads you straight to the heart of Tignes Le Lac and all the main lifts.

After a day exploring the expansive ski area, guests can take full advantage of the hotel spa. You can enjoy the indoor pool, sauna, hammam and gym.

Not only has he explored the French Alps while on holidays from his current home in Australia, he has also spent much of his childhood & adolescence on these remarkable mountains.

From just 2 years old until he was 15, Gilles was fortunate enough to visit his family-owned home at a ski resort in the French Alps called Valfréjus. Every school holiday, his loved ones and himself would leave their home in Paris and enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of this stunning mountain region. It was here that he developed a sincere love for the sport of skiing, as well as a wealth of knowledge regarding the best places to stay and ski. These memories stayed with him long after he moved to Australia as a teen.

After school, Gilles spent the first decade of his career working in the travel and tourism industry selling worldwide ski holidays to the Australian market. However, Gilles knew he had more to offer so he decided to venture out on his own.
