Initial Stock Selection
Use a brokerage platform (e.g., Charles Schwab) to filter U.S. stocks by large-cap and major exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ).
Export the list (around 300 stocks) to a spreadsheet for further filtering.
Remove non-corporations (LLC, LLP) to avoid tax complications.

Upward Large Cap Stocks
Use maximum monthly chart to determine the overall trend of the stock chart
Determine the valley support line (s)=Long uptrend line passing by the valley of the mountains with multiple price touch points=Potential Entry Point
Frequent new highs every 1-2 years = Potential Exit Point
Pick a stock for your watchlist if you can estimate both your entry and exit points.

Higher lows at the valley
Higher highs at the peak
