the band paul Revere and the raders were originally formed in boise idaho in 1958 then known as the downbeats.
in 1960 the band changed its name to paul revere & the raders. mark lindsay who joined the band in 1958 after a chance meeting with paul revere at a bakery store where linsay worked.

it was not until 1969 that the band became really well known with their two hits, "let me" and "mr. son, mr. moon".
in 1970 mark lindsay went on solo whilst still a member of the band with his most famous hit arizona.
the band broke up in 1976 when paul left but reformed in 1978 when he re-joined.
paul revere's let me didn't get very far in the charts but the song was quite popular
in disco-techs so i'm posting it on youtube to gauge the response. i have not included
the lyrics because there's nothing much to include. only let me, repeated many times.
i have changed the video format to avi because it's the best compromise. the file
is small and so faster to upload only taking 4 minutes. in the wmv format, it would
have taken more than 8 minutes. i have discarded the mp4 format because the video
is not stable.
