Gilas Pilipinas – SEA Games 2025 Update
Head Coach:

Norman Black is leading the Gilas squad for SEA Games 2025.

He has coached SEA Games teams before (e.g., in 2011).
SEA Games Schedule:
The 33rd SEA Games will be held December 9–20, 2025 in Thailand.

Because of the timing, it's not during a FIBA window, which complicates player availability.

Roster (Committed / Likely Players):

Some confirmed names: Justin Brownlee, Ange Kouame (naturalized), Ray Parks, Matthew Wright, Remy Martin, Dave Ildefonso, Jason Brickman, Veejay Pre.

Another player, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Ravena and Ladiwas added to strengthen front-court depth.


Naturalized Player Rule:

There’s a big development: Thailand (host) is enforcing FIBA rules for the SEA Games, which limits teams to only one naturalized player. This means Gilas cannot bring both Brownlee and Kouame together (unless there is a special exception).
