The brief was to tackle the cumbersome task of cataloguing UNSPSC codes and goods and services using UN codes. A task often riddled with errors and inefficiencies. Our aim was to streamline the process of assigning UNSPSC codes and enhance accuracy for businesses that deal with multiple codes.

With our connector, all you do is type in a rough description of the goods or services that you need a code for, and within 30 seconds or so you'll get the answer via email after a small amount of ChatGPT prompt engineering in Alteryx.

This was completed in a few hours - truly showcasing the magic of no-code data integration!

Anyone who works with product codes and SKUs, supply chain management or procurement knows that cataloguing goods and services using the UN codes is a problem for every procurement function as it’s very time-consuming. And often, we can get codes wrong, not to mention they can take up to 2 hours per code! Needless to say, it's a nightmare and it's limited added value. So we set out to create a system that improves the accuracy of assigning codes and drastically reduces the time it takes using Alteryx and ChatGPT with no-code solutions and Microsoft Power Platform.
