From Season 11 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 9: Ben and Me and Peter and the Wolf which originally aired on November 15th, 1964. Walt Disney answers the question of how the Studio comes up with their animated cartoons with two of their most unique productions: Ben and Me and Peter and the Wolf. The first is the story of Amos, a Philadelphia church mouse who becomes involved with several important figures during the American Revolution. The second story is the animated featurette, Peter and the Wolf, originally released with the feature, Make Mine Music. Due to copyright, Peter and the Wolf has been edited out, but can be found on DVD and Blu-ray releases of the film. Ben and Me had an appearance on the Disneyland anthology in The Liberty Story (Season 3 Ep 25) in black and white and you'll notice some overlap with Walt Disney's introduction here. Prior to the Peter and the Wolf story is a dramatization of how Walt was introduced to the composer, Sergei Prokofiev. This too was a repeat of a prior segment on the Disneyland Anthology: The Fourth Anniversary Show (Season 4 Ep 1), but is presented here in color.
