The Waipu Wanderers (Scottish country dance)

"The Waipu Wanderers", a reel devised by Eddy West, was the second dance of a demonstration of Scottish country dances by some members of the Scottish Dance Group of the Telheiras Residents' Association (Grupo de Dança Escocesa da ART). The dances were performed as part of a show organised by the Lumiar Parish Council (JF Lumiar) to celebrate World Dance Day 2024 . The music is “Ha! Ha! The wooin’ o’ it” by the Marian Anderson Band, edited to be five times through, and the dance is done "once and to the bottom" by each of the five couples in the demonstration instead of in the normal way, where each couple would do the dance twice as first couple.
