in this vide we have studied about the basic geometrical ideas.

geometry is combination of two words Geo which means Earth and metry which is taken from metron which means measurement.

Plane- two dimensional surface which can be extended infinite to both sides

Point- it is a dimensionless. it is just a dot.

Line- It is straight one dimensional which has no end point it can be extended to both sides

line segment- it is part of line which has two end point.

Ray- it has one end point and it can be extended infinite to one side
