If the remote key fob for your Chevy Camaro has a dead battery or is otherwise not working, you will need to use the emergency key located in the bottom of your smart key remote fob. Once the emergency mechanical key is removed, you will then use it to remove the cover over the key cylinder on the Camaro driver's door. After unlocking the Camaro with the mechanical key and opening the door, you will then need to get in the vehicle and place the the remote key fob in the Camaro's cupholder. Then start your Chevy Camaro as you normally would.
