The 2022 Cadillac XT5 AWD Sport is the perfect sized crossover from Cadillac offering a good amount of luxury and style. This AWD Sport trim level has every option you can ask for! Full panoramic roof, massive 6 piston Brembo brakes up front, premium leather interior, night vision, adaptive cruise and much more! The 6 cylinder engine is decently powered and I like how you can go from FWD to AWD with a press of a button. The 2022 Cadillac XT5 has a leather interior with silver trim and carbon fiber accents and is very comfortable. The adaptive suspension was surprising with how smooth it drove. Very impressive ride quality. The exterior is sharp like every Cadillac and sporty looking. Driving the new 2022 Cadillac XT5 Sport was pretty normal. It does have a good power delivery and smooth tranmission. Putting it into sport mode and using the paddles is pretty pointless. The transmission doesn't seem too good in manual mode and the gears feel like a CVT. But for normal driving it perfectly fine. Not a bad mid sized crossover and it seems right in line with the competitors on how it drives. I will say at $70k I'd expect this to have more power like a BMW X3 M or Audi SQ5. So I think the Sport is overkill and too expensive. But a normal AWD model with the V6 would be a great way to go for this SUV. XT5 walkaround for the 2022 model year on the Cadillac XT5 2022. 2022 XT5 Sport drive was nice and smooth and the 2022 XT5 interior is well appointed.
