We made the long walk out to the red beacon to fish at the mouth of the Mackay Pioneer River. We run into cus Uriel and turned into a two day adventure. The second day we landed a queen fish giving us enough fish to make two dishes of numus (raw fish). We brought the cast net along casting schools of mullet and whiting to add to our catch. The fish were biting giving us some excitement throughout the adventure.
