I was long overdue a trip to Greece so I found this flight, an absolute bargain I'd say, £12 from Gatwick down to Athens. Departing Luton at 15:25 arriving in Edinburgh just before 9pm.
Departing Gatwick towards the west a right hand turn taking us southbound, passing London during our climb. After that unfortunately much of Europe was covered in grey, gloomy skies not allowing for much sightseeing at all unfortunately. Until on our descent and breaking through the cloud layers over the borders. Before flying around Athens city and over the coast making our approach into ATH. A rather gusty morning in Edinburgh with gusts over 19 knots but not causing too much trouble for us.
