Join me today as I have a go redesigning a book cover for Roald Dahl's Matilda! This was a fun project I thought I'd have a go at in the hopes of creating more pieces for my portfolio. There were quite a few stages of learning to it but I got there in the end and I think I've learnt some things for next time!

Book Cover File size:
Width: 28cm
Height: 20.92cm
O.3mm Bleed and 2cm spine included
Set document to CMYK
Screenshotting at 5:28 will give you the sort of template that you can add over the top and work around (sorry but you'll have to remove my sketch) :')

Googling book cover templates will also give you some more (possibly more reliable XD) cover templates as well
