Slowing Down - A conversation with Alec Soth

Foam invited the celebrated American Magnum photographer Alec Soth together with curator Hinde Haest to introduce the Foam exhibition I Know How Furiously Your Heart Is Beating. The photography series in the exhibition is the result of a personal search, in which the photographer slowed down his work process and turned the lens inward. During the online Zoom talk Soth gave an insight into his recent personal and professional transition, his sources of inspiration and working process.⁠⠀⁠⠀
