We’re really really excited to share our next weekend trip to Belgium. In one weekend, using the Eurostar from London to Brussels, we were able to head to Brussels and explore 4 cities in one weekend! Quick, easy and affordable!

First we stop in Brussels, which was our main hub, and within one train ride you are able to access the cities of Ghent, Bruges and Antwerp. Why would you go? First, some of the most stunning buildings around Europe are found in this amazing country. Second, great beer! Belgium is well known for its local breweries. Third, amazing food - waffles, chocolate, fries and more. If that sounds like your kind of weekend check out our video, we always drop our itinerary below, in case you fancy using it as a guide for a future trip.

Itinerary + Tips - Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp (Belgium)

Brussels
- Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussels - this will get you to the southern station of Brussels, you will need another 5 min train to get to the city centre
- Main city Centre including Grand Place / Town Hall / Royal Palace-/ Manneken Pis - very accessible by foot, make sure you walk at night / around 8 you’ll see the main buildings light up
- Dinner at T Kelederke - decent Belgium food and beer
- Delirium Village - a lot of bars but very inclusive and don’t be intimated by the loud music in our video - it was St Patrick’s Day and it was late!
- Noordzsee - moules & frites - very affordable local spot - highly recommended.
- Drinks at Goupil Le Fol / Le Cercuil - if you are thinking of going for a drink before dinner or want to check out somewhere cool after all the walking, these bars are a good option!

Bruges
- Walk to Markt / Beginhof Convent / Church of Our Lady - all walkable from the city's main centre
- Visit the Belfry - quite a few steps but its worth it for the view!!
- Boat ride - not essential if you are doing the main sites by foot, but nevertheless for 12 euros its a good way to get around and take pictures.
- Visit the Windmills - a walk to the outskirts of town, its definitely worth going but you dont have to see all of them! You get the idea after one!
- Drinks at the 2BE Beerwall / le Trappiste - even if you dont drink beer, you just have to check out the beerwall!
- Ribs at Mozart - there is a couple of other options for unlimited ribs, but Mozart was good.

Ghent
- Walk to city centre / Gravesteen Castle / Market Square / Graffiti Street / St Bravo's Cathedral - all very close to each other by foot
- Frittes at Frittur Tartar - very affordable Frittes!
- Drinks at Dulle Griet / De 'T Dreupelkot - this is pretty cool to check out the largest beers we have ever seen!

Antwerp
- Spend some time at the train station - one of the most beautiful train stations we have ever seen!
- Walk to city centre / cathedral of Our Lady / riverside - very beautiful old style buildings
- Lunch at Eldfe Gebod - Food was ok but worth checking out for the super unique interior
- Museum Aan De Stroom - the view as you can see is pretty awesome!
