We begin this episode by introducing our “Deconstructed” series and doing a tour of the Ricoma office to see what embroidery projects we can find to recreate. We settle on an employee’s embroidered denim jacket with a peace sign design on the back. After gathering our materials, we go through the digitizing process using our Chroma digitizing software.

Next, we run our first embroidery test to see how the design comes out before embroidering it on the denim jacket. After noticing a few flaws, we alter our digitized design and explain how to avoid making a similar mistake. Once we finish testing and embroidering our design, we reveal the final product and compare it to our original.
