Updating Any ADB Installation to the Latest Version

Unless you are using Android Studio as your installation method for ADB and Fastboot, then your files are not going to be updated automatically. If you use Android Studio for app development then you are able to update ADB & Fastboot through that program.

Not many people use Android Studio though. Most will simply download the SDK Platform Tools from Google, or use a community installer like Minimal ADB & Fastboot Tools.

Either way, your install isn't being updated unless you do it manually. So I created this video to show you where to download the latest version of ADB & Fastboot files, how to extract them, and where to copy and replace your old files from an older install.
