Week or two of unnatural strange dry heat and then prolonged weekend of nonstop rain and strong wing gusts from all directions. Lots of trees fall, dead wood everywhere, two days of blackout, high waters. But, we are used to all kinds of hard weather here in Bohemian Giant Mountains. Emergency rations of sunflower seeds were distributed at Dinosaur Buffet feeder for few loyal locals - nuthatches and various tits. All is quiet and peaceful right now.
