i always expect to catch some 2+ pound white bass this time of year but only caught one. picked up a nice wiper. first channel cat of the year. always manage to land a few crappie during their spawning time but the boat people always do better with them. north america's largest rodent makes an appearance. if you're local and it's still early may, the white bass spawn may still be on at rock creek since the spawn started so late this year.
