What to do in October in Upstate New York? Visit the haunted historical Museum in Syracuse, housed in the Weigh-lock Building dating back to 1850.

For a whopping $10 you can tour the this dog friendly private museum and choose the docent led tour or if you’re adventurous go for the self guided tour and look for the ghosts reputed to still linger.

The paranormal spirit that is reputed to linger? The spirit of a young girl who drowned in 7 feet of water.

She’s supposedly wales if you get a quiet moment?

I especially enjoyed the learning about the Folk guitarist Elizabeth “Libba” Cotten who came before Jimi Hendrix when it comes to musicians of color who can play the guitar left handed and upside down?!
