Welcome to Sandbox Showcase! In this series, I talk about various problems in Oxygen Not Included and how I've solved them with my own designs in previous streamed and non-streamed runs, by building them in Sandbox mode.

In this video, I talk about how to tame a Volcano such that the hot rock is used to consistently run Steam Turbines to provide consistent power for your base. This build differs from the previous build (   • How To Get Cold Rock From Volcanoes In ONI...  ) in that it aims to use as little power as possible, which results in more power for your other projects and a gradual trickle of cooled rock rather than a sudden influx. We use similar principles such as Liquid Uranium and Conveyor Loops to quickly condense the Magma and get the heat out of the Igneous Rock efficiently. This design can also be used for Minor Volcanoes, and with some adaptations is suitable for Geotuned Volcanoes.
