Volkswagen New Beetle - DRIVER SEAT REMOVAL (1997 - 2011)

Step-by-step guide on front driver seat removal and replacement on VW New Beetle ( 1997 | 1998 | 1999 | 2000 | 2001 | 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | GL | GLS | TURBO | TDI | LUXURY | SPORT | 2.5L ).

Changing the front seat on VW Beetle is actually quite easy to do. First remove two 13mm nuts at the front of the seat. Then remove two torx 15 screws in the back of the seat on the seat railings and remove the plastic covers on top of the railings. Then slide the seat rearward and wiggle it out of the railings. Disconnect three abs/srs connectors and remove the driver seat. That's it. Watch the video for the full tutorial.
