Hollywood needs to do a much better job of supporting emerging young talent instead of casting the same 15, 16 A-Listers in every single mainstream role because there is NO SUCH THING as a dynasty in the arts. Every single time you get a lucky break, you start from ZERO. Art is a SPORT.

Even one of my most favourite performances in western entertainment of all time, Joaquin Phoenix's Emperor Commodus in Gladiator, Joaquin was 24, 25 years old when that move was filmed and he had to redo so many takes to the point where Ridley Scott ran out of film in the camera, but Ridley Scott didn't give up on him and it would be a great shame if we didn't get that incredible performance of Commodus out of Joaquin. What it took was a director to really believe in emerging talent before anyone believed they were a sure thing and really fight for them.
