Reaching Khardung La Pass
The adventure begins as I finally reach the top of Khardung La, after a strenuous climb in the freezing cold. Despite my fingers almost freezing, the sense of accomplishment is overwhelming. The place is bustling with bikers and adventurers, making it a lively spot even on a chilly Saturday.

The Challenge of the Cold
With the unexpected delay from Rynox regarding my winter gloves, I resorted to a creative solution: nitrile rubber gloves from Amazon paired with regular gloves. Surprisingly, this jugad works wonders against the biting cold. As I descend from the dizzying heights, the cold becomes manageable, and I can finally enjoy the journey without numb fingers.

Descending into Nubra Valley
Descending from over 17,000 feet, my bike performs flawlessly, even in the thin air. The breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and winding roads are a sight to behold. The serene landscape below 15,000 feet offers a much-needed respite from the intense cold, allowing me to breathe easier and appreciate the beauty around me.

The Scenic Beauty
The Shyok River and its surrounding valley offer a picturesque setting as I continue my journey. The contrasting shades of brown mountains create a surreal backdrop.
