This is a nest on a barge in Port Lincoln South Australia. It is at the entrance to the Lincoln Cove Marina. The Ospreys have been nesting here prior to us purchasing the barge in 2015. We moved the nest from another barge to this current barge as it is higher out of the water and more stable. We then installed a security camera and solar panels so that we can watch the nest 24/7. Our Osprey don't migrate, and we don't have problems with predators, but in the past, we have had lots of siblicide and yet there was always plenty of fish being delivered.
The nest is 1.25m by 1.5m.

While it's natural to be concerned about the birds' well-being, we ask that you refrain from using overly dramatic panic language like "He's going to die!!" Let's maintain a calm and constructive tone.

5. Respect Fellow Viewers:
Remember that our community is made up of bird enthusiasts just like you. Negative comments about other viewers will not be tolerated.

Consequences for Violating Chat Rules:
If these rules are not followed, our moderators may remove comments that violate these guidelines. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violations, you may receive a temporary mute or, in more serious cases, be banned from the chat indefinitely.
