He (ﷺ) said : "More beloved to Allah than spending a MOUNTAIN of GOLD" | WAYS #8 | Ustadh Baajour

وعن أبي أمامة رضى الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «من هاله الليل أن يكابده، أو بخل بالمال أن ينفقه، أو جبن عن العدو أن يقاتله، فليكثر من سبحان الله وبحمده، فإنها أحب إلى الله من جبل ذهب ينفقه في سبيل الله عز وجل» (قال الألباني في صحيح الترغيب والترهيب: صحيح لغيره)

Abu Umaama [RA] narrates that Prophet[SA] said: “One who is unable to pray during the night or is too miser to spend money or is too coward to take part in Jihad, should recite “SubhanAllahi Wa Bihamdihi” excessively, because this action is more valuable to Allah then spending in his path, a mountain load of gold” Sahih Al Targheeb


Nuh (as) said to his son, "I will give you some advice. I command you with two things and I forbid you from two things. I command you with, ‘laa ilaaha illAllah' for indeed, if the seven heavens and the seven earths were placed in a pan (of the scale) and laa ilaaha illAllah on (the other) pan, it would surely outweigh them. And if the seven heavens and the seven earths were a closed circle, it would be split by 'laa ilaaha illAllah'. And (I instruct you to say), 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi' for it is the prayer of every thing and by it everything is given its provision. And I forbid you from shirk and pride.” [al-Adab al-Mufrad].


Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me, "Shall I tell you the expression that is most loved by Allah?" It is 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi' (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’.Muslim
