Found a Very Old Maple Tree Spout/Tap for Maple Sugaring

When my family was up in Cross Village, Michigan back in July (2024), my Dad and I were looking to see if we could find any of my Grandpa's maple tree taps that he used. Well to my surprise, my Dad found a bucket full of metal taps in the loft of the garage. While I was going through them, I found one very unique spout, that probably belonged to my Great-Grandfather, and is most likely a 1898 Eben Willis Sap Spout. It really is of no great value generally speaking, but to me, having my hands on a tap that could be as old as 125 years, that was used to tap trees by my Grandfather and his father, it is a treasure.
